To break a lock, you need strength,
To escape, you need will,
To be free, you need courage.
lyrics
There can be no future where I will be defeated by,
those who lie and say that we are free.
Their chains are moving closer, the shields are fading, our blood is thickening the air.
Burn these towers that cage our desires, we won't be slaves for what's rightfully ours.
Hear them calling.
Screaming and begging for help.
The sight of hope is fading.
So take up arms, and burn these walls, if freedom speaks it speaks through war.
Embrace the bloodshed and screams of despair, this is the price that freedom bears.
There is no other way, fight to be saved.
Cleanse these streets with blood, blood of the tyrants.
Don't tell yourself that it's fine no it isn't,
You think you're free but they told you what it means
Don't tell yourself that it's fine no it isn't,
You think you're free but they told you what it means
Don't tell yourself that it's fine no it isn't,
You think you're free but they taught you what that word means
It's not as it seems
Hear them calling.
Endlessly fading.
Hear them calling.
Over and over and over again.
The sight of hope is fading.
So take up arms, and burn these walls, if freedom speaks it speaks through war.
So take up arms, and burn these walls, if freedom speaks it speaks through war.
I don’t usually go out much for metalcore/deathcore but this album would easily make my shortlist. Emotionally captivating with great storytelling and an overall solid musical performance. 7/10 RJ
